Ultima online Age of shadows

Age of Shadows - Great expansion pack (the 5th one) for MMORPG Ultima Online. This pack contains it all - New continent named Malas, new and improved Item System, Two totally new character classes - Paladin (this class can perform powerful techniques, such as curing poison in battle, or teleporting to a new location) and Necromancer (contains 16 Necromancy spells).

Mining in Ultima Online

Mining skill is probably the most vary thing in UO Servers. Each free UO server has it's own mining system and ores. You need a pickave for mining. You can dig anywhere you want, in some shards, there are specific areas where you can find the best ores. This is a common table of skill points you need for each ore:


As your skill improves, you become capable of mining and smelting more obscure forms of ore:

• 0+ Iron Ore
• 65+ Dull Copper Ore 
• 70+ Shadow Iron Ore
• 75+ Copper Ore
• 80+ Bronze Ore
• 85+ Golden Ore
• 90+ Agapite Ore
• 95+ Verite Ore
• 99+ Valorite Ore  

  The most rare ore is Valorite. The best armors and guns are made of this kind of ore and it's also the most expensive one.

POL Ultima Emulator

Another Ultima Online World server emulator is POL. This script has been development for over 12 years.
POL’s features are:

Ultima Online sphere

Sphere is a server script for ULTIMA ONLINE. If you want to run your own UO game server, you can use Sphere script for free. It;s easy to install, have plenty of functions and help you build your world easy and fast. This Ultima Online world emulator can serve up to 500 players at the same time. Unfortunately,  Menasoft has discontinued work on this but it does live on.

Ultima Online spells

Ultima has an attractive spell system based on ingredients, mana and skill. All spells are divided in 8 categories (circles). The most easiest spells are in first circle and the hardest in eighth circle. Each spell costs you some specific Reagent items and several mana points. You can fail the spell if you have low magic skill. The higher your skill is, more successfull you are in casting spells.
